Here we have attempted to set out the theoretical framework upon which we hang our work, largely from examples of our own writing, but also with references to the Masters of the School in which we were educated.
The interpretations given and the application of the philosophy to today’s problems are obviously all our own, but any insights we do achieve are gained, in Newton’s famous phrase, because we stand on the shoulders of giants.
